<p>One great star in the Vedic Pantheon is my teacher&#8217;s teacher&#8217;s teacher, Swami Brahmananda Saraswati. He was and is greatly revered as the Shankaracharya of Jyotir Math, the northern post of the four seats of learning the first Shankara established in India in the 8th century.</p>
